Fundraising can be a fun and motivating way to give something back to your community. While you are meeting new people, organizing fun activities at the same time, making money for your organization!

• The key to a good fundraiser is to be organized, remember to delegate.
• Plan ahead - decide what to sell, when it is needed by, and how you are going to sell your products. eg fair, stalls, door to door.
• Fully brief your sellers - especially children. Make them aware of the importance to have orders in on time, forms filled in, and money collected on time.
• Keep efficient records of names, addresses, delivery dates, payments, and who ordered what.
• Insist on payment on delivery right from the start.
• Make sure all goods are sold before re-ordering.
• Keep sellers motivated. Keep in regular contact to get up-dates on progress.
• Make fundraising fun. Get the community involved. eg organize a sports day and run a Make your own pizzas, let the children help.
